Stephen Ironside is a photographer born, bred, and based in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas. He tells stories through photographs — stories of people, stories of places, and especially stories of people in those places, with an ultimate goal of revitalizing peoples’ love for the natural world and for cultures besides their own by working with international NGOs and non-profits focusing on environmental and cultural preservation. Used to making “something” out of “nothing” during photoshoots in his small market, he knows how to keep things simple, efficient, and walk away with a happy client no matter the subject matter. A lover of the outdoors and of other cultures, you’ll typically find him on a long walk along the hills and streams of the Ozarks, or maybe catching a sunset on a mountaintop in Bolivia, or shoving his face full of (often homemade) Indian food. Even though he is based in Arkansas, he’s worked with Fortune 500 (and 100) companies and has been fortunate enough to travel the world doing what he loves.
